Best Case Version 17

Since the Bankruptcy Reform Act has gone into effect, much has changed in bankruptcy; attorneys now have more forms to file, more information to collect, and a greater ammount of responsibilty placed on them. Fortunately, Best Case Bankruptcy Version 17 includes numerous features to assist you in meeting the demands placed on you.

Best Case Bankruptcy Version 17 Bankruptcy Reform Features.

  • Means Test Calculator: Best Case includes a Means Test Calculator which helps you determine whether a presumption of abuse arises. Includes the latest IRS allowances, Census Bureau figures, and forms. Read more about the Means Test Calculator here.

  • Current Monthly Income(CMI) Calculator: The CMI Calculator, located on the Income tab of the Means Test Calculator, allows you to compute the debtor's average monthly income easily. You can use the CMI Calculator to:
    • quickly determine a debtor's average monthly income using year-to-date or monthly totals
    • create a detailed income statement that prints as an attachment to Form 22.
    • document information about Social Security benefits and other non-CMI income
    • Show negative income for a business, rental property or farm that might not otherwise be documented on Form 22.

  • Credit Report Import™ and other Due Dilligence Items: The Credit Report Import feature allows you to order a credit report from one of our two business partners, OCR's Suite Solutions or CIN Legal Services, and import the data directly into Best Case. Other Due Dilligence items such as property valuations, tax transcripts and credit counseling are also available for order right through your Best Case Bankruptcy. Read more about this feature here.

  • New and Revised Federal Forms and Schedules: There have been changes to most Official forms, and Best Case Version 17 has them!

A color-coded system was added to allow you to determine which set of forms was a used for your client at a glance.

  • Custom Chapter 13 Plans: With Chapter 13 filings on the rise, it has become increasingly important that attorneys are able to quickly and efficently file Chapter 13 Plan documents. These Custom Chapter 13 Plans, sold as add-ons, use information already entered into Best Case and will print in the exact format your trustee requires. To find out more about our Chapter 13 Plan Calculator click here.
