Keyboard Shortcuts: Many Windows-based programs require you to switch frequently between the keyboard and the mouse, slowing you down. Spell-Check is available in all text fields. Just press [Ctrl]-[\] to check spelling.
Summary screens for each Schedule neatly organize and display information you've entered, and provide a running total of each schedule. If you need to change answers, you'll have no trouble finding where to go.
AddressHelper comes with a full database of all U.S. zip codes. As you enter addresses, the cursor skips the city and state fields and jumps to the zip code field. Type in the zip, and the city and state will be filled in for you, for quicker data entry and fewer misspellings and typos! Comes with a complete database of U.S. Zip Codes.
Instant Access to Exemption Laws: Federal and state exemption laws are provided, and can be edited by the user as laws change or to add comments about applicability. As you enter information for Schedule C, you can select exemption laws from a pop-up list. Exemption limits are displayed, where applicable, and the amount claimed under each exemption so far. If you exceed a given statute's limit, a warning will appear.
Prorate Calculator: A prorate calculator quickly converts income and expenses to monthly amounts.
AddressFill gives you easy access to your Common Creditor List and a list of creditors already entered for the case! When adding a new creditor, just begin typing - the AddressFill List will appear. If the name and address is in your AddressFill List, it will appear highlighted after you type the first few letters: just press [Enter] to accept. If a creditor needs to be listed on more than one schedule, you won't have to type the name and address twice.
Auto-Calculate Features: Fills out the statistical/administrative information on the Voluntary Petition based on information you have entered for the schedules. Also calculates unsecured portion of secured claims. (Turn the Auto-calc feature off for emergency filings or to fill in your own answers.)
Links between schedules reduce typing time and provide greater consistency throughout the filing. You can link property from Schedules A and B to Schedule C to claim an exemption and to Schedule D if there is a lien against the property. You can also link creditor information from any of the creditor schedules to the codebtor schedule.
Keyboard Macro Feature: Lets you define up to 30 shortcuts for phrases you use often. For example, set up a shortcut that inserts the phrase "at debtor's residence" in any text field when you press [Ctrl]-[R]. You can also use data fields like the debtor's name, address and social security number in your shortcuts.
Exemption Limit-Checking Feature: Displays the limit for each statute and warns you when you go over a given statute's limit. Update limits through the Setup Menu whenever you need to.
Creditor Import/Export Feature: Saves time in large corporate filings. If the debtor can provide you with creditor names and addresses in text format, you can import them into any of the creditor Schedules D, E or F, Schedule G, the List of Equity Security Holders, or directly into the matrix.
Credit Card Validation System: Watches for account numbers on Schedule F that are formatted like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. If you enter an account number that does not fit the mathematical formula for these credit cards, a warning message will appear.
