• Forms and Schedules
  • Link to Liens - New Link Lien and Unlink Lien buttons have been added to Schedules A and B which allow users to easily link property to liens that have already been entered in a creditor schedule. To view these new buttons, open a property in Schedule A or B and click the Liens tab.
  • Schedules A & B - A Copy button has been added to Schedules A and B allowing users to copy a selected property to make a new property entry.
  • Schedule C Exemption Amount - Best Case has added a Quick Click option in Schedule C that allows users to click on the Exemption Limit, Market Amount, Net Equity, or Unexempt to quickly place the specific figure in the Exemption Amt field.
  • Schedules D, E, F - A Copy button has been added to Schedules D, E, and F allowing users to copy a selected record to make a new creditor entry.
  • Schedules D, E, F Additional Notice Parties now display in the Creditor Information box. To view this new feature, open Schedule D, E, or F, highlight a specific creditor, and look in the Creditor Information box located at the bottom of the creditor list.
  • Schedule F - An Acct # column has been added to the Schedule F summary list window. Users can now quickly locate a creditor by account number in this window by typing the pound sign (#) followed by digits in the account number.
  • Schedule F - Best Case has added a By Amount tab in the Schedule F summary list window where users can view the list of creditors organized by the lowest claim amount to the highest. Located at the bottom of the tab are Lo$ and Hi$ buttons that swiftly take you the lowest or highest amounts listed.
  • Schedule I - "Husband" and "Wife" are now available as dependent choices in Schedule I.
  • Form 22 Means Test - Amending Form 22 has been made easier with the addition of an Override checkbox on the General tab that allows users to change the Date Case Filed and get a new 6 Month Average Income for a debtor.
  • Creditor Address Matrix - Best Case has improved the creation of the Creditor Address Matrix to prevent rejection from CM/ECF sites due to special characters in the file.
  • Liquidation Analysis - The Liquidation Analysis now displays more details including any partial interest in property entered in Schedules A or B.
  • Pacer Case Locator - Our Pacer Case Locator has been enhanced so that users can easily copy a joint debtor's Social Security number to clipboard which can then be pasted online. To copy the number to the clipboard, hold down the Shift key and then click on the Pacer Case Locator button on the Prior/Related tab of the Voluntary Petition. Note: The primary debtor's number is automatically copied to clipboard when the button is clicked.
  • Proof of Claim - This official form is now available in an editable format. To access this new feature, click the Print button in the Proof of Claims data entry screen and then click the Edit Form button.

  • A Glossary of Bankruptcy Terms has been added to our Help Contents.
• Toolbar Changes for Enhanced Access

To Calendar: Dates from the Case Status Dates, User Defined Dates & Important Dates can be sent to Calendars.

• A new button "To Calendar" has been added to the bottom of the "Case Status", "User Defined 1", "User Defined 2" and "Important Dates" tabs. This button allows for multiple dates to be sent to a Outlook or other ICalendar Compatible Software. (The User's Calendar software should be open before using this "To Calendar" feature.)

Revised Means Test Forms

Due to a revision of the language in the top section of Form 22A it is possible that multiple versions of the form (1 for each Debtor) may be viewed as necessary by the attorney. Best Case Bankruptcy provides complete flexibility regarding this decision of the attorney.
