Import Client-Provided Data

Streamline your workflow and save data-entry time with MyCaseInfo, a secure, web-based client questionnaire that imports into Best Case.

After downloading client questionnaire data from the attorney portal in MyCaseInfo, there are two ways to import the data: into an existing client or by creating a new client. Import into an existing client if you have already created and started entering information in a client file. If you have not yet started a client file, import into a new client.

For an existing client:

  1. Open the client file.
  2. click Tools > MyCaseInfo > Import MyCaseInfo into currently open client file.

  3. Import Client-Provided Data

  4. This will open your computer’s file explorer. Locate the document with the client data that you downloaded from the attorney portal in MyCaseInfo. Then click Open.
  5. A dialogue box will appear and prompt you to select your import preferences. Once you have made your selections, click Import.

  6. Import Client-Provided Data

For a new client:

  1. Click the New Client button to create a new client.

  2. Import Client-Provided Data

  3. In the New Client dialogue box, click Import.

  4. Import Client-Provided Data

  5. This will open your computer’s file explorer. Locate the document with the client data that you downloaded from the attorney portal in MyCaseInfo. Then, click Open.
  6. Click OK to create the client file.
