April 22, 2019:

Revised Means Test Figures Effective May 1, 2019

The following Means Test Figures are revised effective May 1, 2019: The IRS National Standards for Bankruptcy Allowable Living Expenses (BALE), Local Transportation Expense Standards, and the Chapter 13 Administrative Expense Multipliers. After updating Best Case Bankruptcy, users can view the new figures in the program by changing the expected filing date to May 1, 2019 or later in the General tab in Form 122.

Revised Means Test Figures effective April 1, 2019

The Census Bureau Median Family Income Data for Form 122A-C are revised effective April 1, 2019.  After updating Best Case Bankruptcy, users can now view the new figures in the program by changing the expected filing date to April 1, 2019 or later on the General tab in Form 122A-C.  Visit the U.S. Trustee’s Means Testing website for more information regarding the revisions. For a comparison of the old numbers to the revised numbers provided by Best Case LLC, click here.
